A fixed panel earns
only at noon.
A conventional fixed-mount solar panel is angled for solar noon. Outside that narrow window — particularly at dawn and dusk — the sun's angle causes energy to scatter rather than convert. That generation exists. It simply goes uncollected.
The Aran single-axis tracker eliminates this loss entirely, rotating panels to face the sun across its full east-to-west arc. Morning and evening hours that a fixed plant wastes are fully captured — every day, for 25 years.
The tracker follows the sun's full arc — fixed panels capture only the midday window.
